Bounding Spaces is an accessory line that allows us to claim our space without losing our style. These playful wearables use a pop-up tent technique to instantly unfold whenever others might come too close. When the belt is released, they pop into flamboyant distance-keepers with various prints and forms. Large splotched patterns in vibrant tones create a fresh urban look and feel. The contrasting outlines frame your personal space. When the risk has passed, they can be easily compressed and add yet another fashion statement to our reshaped lives. 💥 Im awarding @makecrake for „most-reliable-grad-2020-model“ 🥇💜 #boundinspaces #socialdistancing #ddw20 #heyddw #graduation2020 #designacademyeindhoven #pandemicchic @designacademyeindhoven @design_in_quarantine @dezeen

Happy to be part of the @whatiflab with my project “Bounding Spaces” during @dutchdesignweek this year. Covid-19 has turned the global events industry upside down. Dutch Design Week seemed to be able to slip through the cracks for a long time, but due to the latest developments, it was also forced to switch to a fully digital edition at the last minute. Designers Imke Sloos, Anna Dienemann and design studio The incredible machine have thought about questions such as: What if locations are full? How do you make a queue fun and yet safe? How do we sympathetically remind visitors of the 1.5 meter distance, if they temporarily seem to have forgotten about it? —— Big thanks to @whereischai for always being down, putting on my distance keepers 🙏 #dutchdesignweek #ddw #ddw20 #heyddw #socialdistancing #boundingspaces #pandemicchic #whatiflab #covid_19 #dezeen @dezeen @eindhovencity @vanabbemuseum
